YBA Resume Review
Animo City of Champions
The Treasury Management Manager used his career experience to review and provide feedback on resumes to Animo City of Champions Seniors. During the resume review, volunteers were able to have one-on-one discussions with students on ways they can improve their resumes to tailor it to their desired career paths.
America Saves
LA Saves Tabling

The CRA team are team leaders for the LA Saves campaign and were joined for the tabling event at Exposition Park Library and University Pathways Public Service Academy. During the tabling they informed people of ways they can save money and shared helpful tips.
VITA Tax Preparation
BTCF (El Monte & Norwalk/Cerritos), Haven Neighborhood Services

RBB volunteers have helped countless families and individuals file their taxes for free and helped them receive tax refunds. As the VITA season has ended, through April 30th, we have completed 1953 hours.

Animo Compton Charter School
Field Trip and Shark Tank Activity
Royal Business Bank hosted a field trip for students from Amino Compton. Students were able to learn about various aspects of banking such as: Credit, Bank Secrecy (BSA), Small Business Administration (SBA), and Administration Department. With the help of RBB team leaders, students came up with a product and had to develop a logo, business plan, and marketing strategy. They then had to present their idea in front of four judges who gave them feedback. We're proud to give a special thanks to our all female judging panel celebrating Women’s History Month!

Financial Literacy Workshop

In Partnership with CPC, RBB volunteers delivered a financial literacy workshop about Bank Services: Checking and Savings Accounts.

VITA Tax Preparation

We are well into the VITA 2025 season and have been doing amazing assisting with providing free tax preparation services for low-income individuals and families. Our partner sites have expressed appreciation and kind words for all of the hard work RBB volunteers are doing.
Haven and YBA
High School Students VITA Certified
In collaboration with Youth Business Alliance, coordinated by Haven Neighborhood Services, CRA department helped assist 17 students from YBA with their VITA training to ensure they created their account, read required materials, and passed the Volunteer Standards of Conduct, Intake/Interview and Quality Review certifications, and the completion of the Volunteer Agreement form to become VITA Advanced volunteers.
FDIC Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion
Disaster Recovery and Economic Inclusion

RBB team members attended the FDIC’s Los Angeles Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) Tri-Annual Forum for Working Groups. It comprised of a broad base of organizations including financial institutions, community-based nonprofit organizations, Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI’s), and government agencies.
Director of Community Development was invited to speak on behalf of RBB’s involvement in the VITA program and the efforts taken to show support of our VITA partners.

YMCA and Chinatown Service Center (CSC)
Royal Business Bank response to LA wildfires


In response to the LA wildfires, Royal Business Bank (RBB) donated to organizations like YMCA and United Way Los Angeles to help those affected by the recent tragic events. YMCA assists by offering basic essential needs to families. United Way Los Angeles supports low-income individuals whose livelihood had been disrupted and has faced homelessness due to the destruction the fires have caused.
RBB employees in Los Angeles area donated essential items to Ketchum-Downtown YMCA and Chinatown Service Center (CSC), ensuring that essential supplies reached those in our community. Bringing smiles and happiness to those affected by the fires during these trying times.
